Eco Indigo

We live in East Lothian and love the beautiful countryside which is perfect for our walks with our dogs.

Eco Indigo started in 2017 and we hope you find all you need on our website.

Please contact us if you need any more information.

The buildings at Keepers Cottage and Kennels by Spott Home Farm date from the mid 1800s.

Our smallholding has 8 acres of which about 4 acres is a wooded dean (a glacial feature) with a burn (a stream) and a farm pond dating back to around 1830, which previously produced power for the Spott Estate.

About us

Lennox

Who am I? Well someone who looks for the best in people and enjoys learning new skills in life. I’m a semi-retired eye surgeon, whose childhood was spent in London, but most of my adult life spent in Scotland, with spells overseas (Ethiopia, Belize, Vietnam) teaching and working. Now – the new project – a smallholding in Spott. The learning curve is vertical.

Clemency

Interests including spinning, weaving, travel, crafts and beekeeping:  I’ve kept bees for over 15 years and am enjoying the variety of honeys the bees have from a range of flowers in East Lothian – oilseed rape, wild blossom honey and with the possibility of heather honey.
